The end

Yes, in the end, everyone is happy. Laurie and Amy came home! They're married now, because they wouldn't need a chaperone to go home if they were married. Frederick and I ended up together, getting married. Mother is happy for all of us, since all of the remaining March girls are married and happy with our choices in husbands. Yes, all's well that ends well!

By myself

I really do miss Beth. I know it's selfish of me, but I do. I'd do anything to get my sister back and have her well. I told father about everything. I try to take over what Beth did, cleaning and such. I hum like she hummed. Hannah realized that I'm trying to make it like Beth never left us. I found out that Jo and Amy are getting married. I'm actually happy for them. Laurie gets to be my brother! I started writing again too! Things may go back to normal!

My Beth

We all know that Beth is going to die. She's still Beth. She drops things from her window for those who need them, like mittens and pens. Oh, my Beth...!
She's always cheerful, but one day she said that her needle was to heavy. She never picked it up again. Poor Beth! She claims to feel stronger when I'm with her, so I don't leave her. I wrote a poem about Beth, entitled "My Beth" I was asleep when she read it, so when I woke, I told her how much she means to me. She told me to take care of Mother and Father, and then, before dawn, she took her final breath and died peacefully.
I'm sad, but I know that My Beth is happy and well now.

Laurie

Laurie studied so hard and did so well in his last year of college! Everyone except Amy (since she's in Europe) went to his graduation. He graduated with Honor! After the graduation, Laurie and I talked, then he confessed something.
He confessed that he loved me. Me! Jo March! Sure, we're best friends but to say that he loves me! Then He tried to propose to me. I rejected, and he started talking about Professor Bhaer. That set me off, and we started talking about love. I told him I want to remain friends with him. After he left, I told Mr. Laurence to be nice to Laurie.
They're going to Europe, the Laurence's. I'll miss them, but I'll survive.

Frederick Bhaer

I met a man named Frederick Bhaer, a professor. He's very kind. He's a profesor, and he's teaching me German!

Beth and Laurie

Mother was worried about Beth today. My sister doesn't talk much to Father, sings sad songs, and cries. She's a bit gloomy. I think that she loves Laurie! but I think he likes me! In order to let Laurie start to like Beth, I decided to go to new york.
I don't think Laurie and I can be together, since we're so alike. It just wouldn't work out. So I'm going to New York! Goodbye Mother, Goodbye! Good luck to Beth!

Wedding 1

It's Meg's wedding day! She made her dress and we fixed her hair and adorned it with lillies, the flowers that John likes best. Beth, Amy, and I wore silver dresses.
Durring the wedding, I nearly cried, but Laurie was watching, so I didn't. Father's voice cracked a few times, but we were all happy in the end. Meg gave the first kiss to Mother, then to everyone else. Meg and John went to there new house after she told us that she'll visit often. With that, Meg began married life.
