The three years

Three short years have passed and so many things have happened. John went off to war, got hurt, and came home with no special honors or medals. Sallie Gardiner married Ned Moffat and Meg is sometimes jealous, but she and John are happy with a bright future. Amy took my place at Aunt Jo's. I still write, and Beth is still a little frail. Laurie went off to college and is almost done. And then the wedding is soon!
